BizBrokerMatch is a free broker matching service for business owners selling their company. The platform indexes 3,142 IBBA-member business brokers across all 50 U.S. states and matches sellers with the right broker based on industry specialty, deal size, and location. There is no cost for sellers. Brokers are ranked by fit — not by advertising spend.
BizBrokerMatch was built to solve a problem I kept running into: business owners trying to sell a company they've spent decades building, and getting matched with brokers through Google ads, referral networks, and luck.
The business broker industry has a credentialing body — the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA) — and thousands of trained members across the country. But there was no neutral, fit-based way to connect sellers with the right broker for their specific industry, deal size, and location.
BizBrokerMatch indexes IBBA members and scores them on the signals that actually matter to sellers: IBBA tenure, professional certifications (CBI, M&AMI), verified transaction history, web presence, and client reviews. Sellers answer a short quiz about their industry, revenue, and location and receive a ranked shortlist of matched brokers — in under 60 seconds, for free.

Ryan is a business transactions professional based in Dallas, TX. He built BizBrokerMatch after recognizing that the process of finding the right business broker was opaque, inefficient, and often favored whoever had the biggest marketing budget — not whoever was the best fit for a seller's deal.
